BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – Kittitian medical doctor **Dr. Dwain Archibald** departed the Federation on Monday to join the West Indies Under-19 squad as team doctor, ahead of their campaign at the upcoming ICC Men’s Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Dr Archibald described the opportunity as a great honour, noting that he is proud to contribute to the development and success of the region’s young cricketers while representing **St. Kitts and Nevis** on the international stage.
“I am extremely honoured to be part of the West Indies Under-19 setup,” Dr Archibald said. “I see this role not only as a professional responsibility, but also as an opportunity to serve as an ambassador for my country.”
The tournament will be co-hosted by Namibia and Zimbabwe and will run from January 15 to February 6. The West Indies Under-19 team is scheduled to open its campaign on **Thursday, January 15, against Tanzania.
