The Nevis over 50’s team engaged their Kittitian counterparts at the VOJN grounds, on Sunday 19th December.

Despite severe inclement weather, both teams were anxious to play and the game went on, with no fewer than three rain breaks.
The final shower put a damper on proceedings for the day.

The Kittitians won the toss and opted to bat first, starting their innings with Luther SHOTGUN Kelly and Glen Rogers.

They got to 47 for 5 in their allotted 10 overs.

The Nevis team started with a rush and got to 32 for 1 in 3.1 overs, just before the final shower of the day, winning handsomely via the Duckworth/Lewis method, being ahead by 16 runs, when the rain stopped play.
