As the Nevis Over Thirty-Five Cricket Team continued its preparation to defend their title in St. Kitts, this coming weekend, they played a practice encounter versus the New Vision team, at the VOJN grounds on Sunday 18th October.
The New Vision team won the toss and batted first. They got to 114 in their allotted 20 overs, with Jelani Manners top-scoring with 21.
The Nevis Over Thirty-Five Cricket Team in response, also found the pitch somewhat two-paced and tricky to bat on, but despite all of that, Carlon Smithen starred with a superlative 52 not out, to lead the Nevis Over Thirty-Five Cricket Team to a comfortable victory.
