The New Vision team is the champion team of the Second division 35 overs tournament, hosted by the Nevis Cricket Association and sponsored by the Bank of Nevis.
This feat was accomplished on Saturday 20th August, when the home team engaged the Masters, at the VOJN grounds
Masters batted first and got off to a slow start. They eventually got to what must be considered a competitive total of 158 all out, in 32.3 overs.
They were helped in no small measure, with a top score by EXTRAS of 41.
New Vision at their turn at the crease, also had their struggles against the Masters’ bowling, but led by man of the match, Tyrel Mills and Peter Charles, they managed to hold out and score the winning run, in the 32nd over-159 for 7.
