Cricket Set to Resume on Nevis

According to President of the Nevis Cricket Association, Carlisle Powell, the Nevis Cricket Association has been given permission to resume cricket under the Covid-19 protocols, which includes “not exceeding 150 persons for this outdoor activity”,

He has subsequently sent a listing of the rules that will guide the upcoming T-10 tournament, to be hosted by his association and a copy of the revised fixtures, for the participating teams.

An opening ceremony will take place at the VOJN field starting at noon on February 27th, Each team is asked to be represented by ten (10) players fully dressed in uniform,

Upcoming fixtures:
Saturday 27th February
Brown Hill v Empire at 1 pm at VOJN-Umpires: Browne and Powell
Easterns v Youths of Nevis at 3 pm at VOJN-Umpires: Weeks and Smithen

Sunday 28th February
Pioneers v Highlights at 11 am at VOJN-Umpires: Wallace and Frazier
Jets v Calypso at 1 pm at VOJN-Umpires: Parry and Josephine
All stars v New Vision at 3 pm at VOJN-Umpires: Monzac &andSomersall
