Some of Nevis’ under 19 cricketers, engaged in practice matches over last weekend, at the VOJN grounds.
These matches served as good preparation for the young cricketers who have already made it into the Windies under 19 squad, in preparation for the upcoming under 19 world cup tournament.
On Sunday 31st October, Justin Amurdan X1 engaged Jaden Carmichael X1.
The Carmichael X1 batted first and scored 115 all out, with Skipper Carmichael leading the way with 45; Kenron Freeman got 14 and Patrice Nisbett 12
The Justin Amurdan X1 could only muster 69 all out, with Justin Amurdan top-scoring with 26.
It is understood that there will be more such matches in the coming weeks.
