New President of the Leeward Islands Masters Cricket Association, Mr. Anthony Rawlins, has announced that his executive committee has appointed Mr. Curtis Morton of NTV Sports in Nevis, as the Public Relations Officer to the Association.
Morton’s term of office, according to Rawlins, will run for one year, as the plan is, going forward, that an appropriate person will be chosen for the position, from each territory assigned to host the tournament. St. Kitts is set to host the tournament for the year 2020 and therefore Morton will lead on publicizing press releases from the Association and assist with the promotion of the tournament.
Rawlins further announced that he has also appointed two special advisors to the president, in Stuart Williams of Nevis and Hamish Anthony of St. Thomas.
The two renowned gentlemen will assist him in planning the upcoming tournament, towards seeking an improvement in formatting and execution. The new Association has hit the ground running and plans are already in the works for the 2020 tournament.
