Charlestown-Nevis- Popular and well beloved Teacher at the VOJN Primary school, Ms. Delcita DELI Warde, passed away suddenly, on Friday 2nd February, at the Alexandra Hospital.
Shockwaves were felt throughout the school; the St. James’ Parish and indeed throughout the entire Nevisian community, as news of her passing made its rounds.
Ms. Warde was the teacher responsible for grades five and six at the school and also ably filled her role as Deputy Principal, as well.
She was very actively involved in the lives of the children-be it academics; sports or social events.
The school is currently in mourning and a date for the funeral service is yet to be confirmed.
