DLDSS and Taiwan’s Nanshan High School Sign MOU for Cultural and Language Exchange

On Thursday, January 8, 2026, a virtual ceremony was held at the **Dr. Denzil L. Douglas Secondary School (DLDSS)** to formalise a partnership with **Nanshan High School in Taiwan**.

During the ceremony, Ms Andreanna French, Principal of the Dr Denzil L. Douglas Secondary School, and Mr Ming-Cheng Tsai, Principal of Nanshan High School, signed a **Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)** aimed at facilitating cultural and language exchanges between the two institutions.

The agreement falls under the **Sister Schools Programme**, which is one of the Embassy’s most significant educational initiatives. The programme is designed to create avenues for meaningful cultural and academic exchange, strengthen people-to-people ties, and build a bridge between St. Kitts and Nevis and Taiwan.

The partnership is expected to provide students and educators with opportunities for cultural immersion, language learning, and enhanced educational collaboration, particularly for those who aspire to pursue further studies in Taiwan.

The Sister Schools Programme continues to play a vital role in fostering international cooperation in education and expanding global learning opportunities for students in St. Kitts and Nevis.
