ECCB Mobile Application Aims to Strengthen Connectivity in ECCU

8 June, Basseterre, Saint Christopher (St Kitts) and Nevis – The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) announces the launch of the ECCB Connects Mobile Application, the latest offering in its digital transformation journey.

The new Mobile Application, which was conceptualised to serve as an information, events and activities App, showcases financial, economic and statistical data from the ECCU and includes news, events, discussion forums, videos, games and financial tips. These will allow for deeper active engagements with the Bank and its programmes.

Governor of the ECCB, Timothy N. J. Antoine, says the ECCB Connects Mobile Application will help the ECCB to stay connected with the people of the region especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. “Digital tools have been a life-line in this pandemic and the new App will enhance the ECCB’s effectiveness in helping the people of the region get and stay connected to their Bank.”

He added that, “the ECCB is on the move and wants to ensure that the people it serves stay connected to the Bank while it is on the move.”

The App is integrated with the ECCB’s Website and its social media platforms and App users will have one tap access to the ECCB on both Android and iOS platforms.
