Estridge Primary School Ancillary Staff Receive Training

Basseterre: St. Kitts: As part of preparations to ensure a seamless transition, the ancillary staff at the Estridge Primary School participated in a series of training aimed at equipping them with them to cater to the needs of the students of the Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School who will relocate there in September.
Commending the staff for their keenness, dedication and initiative, Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Lisa Romayne Pistana stated

“This training came out of a desire for us to be tooled up for when a new group of students comes into this compound. These individuals in their wisdom said to us [Ministry of Education administration] we don’t want to go anywhere but we want to make sure we are trained so that we know exactly what to do when these students with special needs come to this campus. They were here every afternoon dedicated to the cause, actively participating, ensuring they would gather all the things they will need. They are tooled up; they are equipped for the journey ahead. So I say Kudos to you.”

Mrs. Pistana conveyed gratitude to the trainees, “As you step in this new part of the journey, your journey in the Ministry of Education we say thank you for being so open-minded, so willing, so cooperative. Thank you for making sure you are ready to embrace our students.”
The Estridge Primary School will be campus two for the Cotton Thomas Comprehensive School for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. Campus One will remain at its current location next to the Dr William Connor Primary School.
