Football : Bath United Hosts End of Year Party

On Saturday 18th December, the Bath United Football Club hosted its annual end-of-year party at the Maude Smith Community Center in Bath Village.

Long-serving Coach of the Club, Alex Claxton was extremely pleased with the turnout of the players of the various age categories covered by the club, which include male and female teams.

He pointed to the fact that the club did not achieve the sort of championship honours anticipated at the start of the year and noted that the players were impacted by the ongoing covid-19 situation.

However, he is looking forward to a much better 2022 and is confident that the players are up to the task ahead.

He thanked the players and their supportive parents and all other individuals and organizations who have assisted the club but saved special praise for the main sponsors, APPLE SYDER and Captain Frankie.

One of the usual features of the evening, was the cutting of the various cakes, to celebrate the birthdays of the various team members, covering all twelve months of the year.

There was much food, drinks and music, as the players literally ‘let down their hair.’
