(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- Gavin ‘Moon’ Clarke of Church Ground had a grin of satisfaction as he faced the NTV camera on Monday, December 1, 2014. He was literally ‘over the moon’ in elation.
He had just returned from Antigua, having participated in a prestigious Drag Racing event there. The event was held on Saturday 29 and Sunday, November 30, 2014.
His precious ‘King of Cali’ vehicle had stormed to victory in the Outlaw Class and he was also awarded the trophy for the overall winner.
According to Clarke, ‘King of Cali’ clocked six seconds on the first day of the event during the preliminary stage but on the big day, Sunday 30th November, constantly clocked five seconds.
Clarke and his pride and joy ‘King of Cali’ will now be hoping to end the year on a high note as they face off with all would be competitors, during the final Drag Racing event for the year, which is known as ‘Grudges’ and will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the popular St. James’ Raceway.
