The 49th annual Nevis Culturama Festival will be celebrated from July 27-August 8 and will showcase the rich cultural heritage of the island and features a wide range of activities, including music, dance, food, parades, and pageants. As one of the most anticipated events on the island, it attracts locals as well as visitors from around the world who come to experience Nevisian culture and immerse themselves in the vibrant festivities.
One of the highlights of the Culturama Festival is the street parade, where colorful and lively floats, costumed participants, and marching bands make their way through the streets of Charlestown, the capital of Nevis. Ahead of the Festival, the island has announced the winning slogan for this year, “49 Years of Mas and Spree! Culturama, 2023!”. It was selected from among a record number of six hundred and seventy-six entries that were submitted to the Culturama 49 Slogan Contest.
