An 7am BST advisory from the NOAA has confirmed that Nicole has once again strengthened to a Hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 90mph with some stronger gusts.
The storm is moving northwest towards Bermuda at a speed of 6mph. It will approach the island by this evening and is likely to make a direct hit early Thursday morning with 110mph winds.
