It’s Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew’s New Year’s Gala Tonight — “An Evening of Insight, Culture, and World-Class Entertainment

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — The highly anticipated social event of the year takes place this evening at the St. Kitts Marriott Dome: the 2026 Prime Minister’s New Year’s Grand Gala, hosted under the distinguished patronage of Prime Minister the Hon. Dr Terrance M. Drew and First Lady Mrs Diani Prince-Drew.

Proceeds from this year’s gala will support local breast cancer awareness initiatives and community support groups.

The featured guest speaker is an award-winning journalist, author, professor, and internationally respected advocate for social justice and global affairs, Dr Marc Lamont Hill. Formal proceedings are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

According to the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) Secretariat, the gala “brings together powerful ideas and unforgettable performances as we step into a new year with purpose.” The evening is being promoted as one of insight, culture, and world-class entertainment.

The entertainment lineup includes performances from regional standouts such as **Virgil Hodge, Aida, and the KC5 Band**, setting the musical tone for the evening. The program will culminate with a live concert by the legendary Antiguian soca group **Burning Flames**, promising high-energy performances and timeless hits.
