Kezron Archibald wrecks Anguilla as Nevis records its first win

Nevis demolished Anguilla in its first match of the ongoing Leeward Islands Cricket 50 over tournament in Antigua over the weekend.

Anguilla won the toss and opted to bat.  Anguilla was immediately in trouble, and at one stage were 47 for 5.  The Nevis bowling onslaught was led by Kerzon Archibald who bagged 5 for 38. Anguilla only managed to get to a paultry total of 141 all out in 33.4 overs.

In response, Nevis got to 144 for 3 in 33.3 overs with Ross Powell (74 from 99 balls) and Tonito Willett (51 from 74 balls) anchoring the innings.   Jamie Cornelius (1 from 7 balls), Andre Browne (6 from 11 balls) and Javarni Tyson (6 from 4 balls) all went cheaply.
