Louvina Daniel gets to 91

Charlestown-Nevis-Miss Louvina Daniel knows what it is to grow old gracefully.
On Tuesday 6th November, the Flambuoyant Senior Citizens’ home resident, got to the enviable age of 91.
She was visited by relatives and a contingent from the Ministry of Social Development and more specifically, the Seniors Division of the Community Services Department, led by none other than Minister Eric Evelyn himself.
A brief presentation ceremony was held, during which Seniors’ Coordinator, Miss Trudy Prentice, offered words of welcome and prayer and then all present joined in the well-known chorus: ‘THANKS.’
Minister Evelyn wished the beloved senior a very happy birthday and saluted her for the work that she has done in raising her children and grandchildren and also praised the efforts of the staff at the Flambuoyant home for the great work they continue to do.
He then presented her with a fruit basket, complements of his Ministry, in collaboration with the City Drug store.
Everybody joined in to sing the birthday song and Miss Daniel simply said ‘Thank you.’
