MCPS Warm Up For Interprimary

The athletes at the Maude Crosse Preparatory School, seemed intent on sending warning signals to the other schools, as the build up to the grand Interprimary event scheduled for April 1st approaches.

The school held its annual sports meet on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the ET Willet Park, under the distinguished patronage of former student and star athlete and current state’s scholar, Miss Chloe Williams.

The athletes competed in the 400; 800; 60; 200; 1200 and 100 meter races; along with fun races and the 4×100 and 4 x400 meters races.

There were some outstanding performances and several records were broken.

Victor Ludorum-Alexander Caines-44 points—He broke records in the 800 and 1200 meters races
Victrix Ludorum—Sasha Parris— 42 points. She broke a record in the 800 meters for class four girls
Three other records were broken: Tarique Smith 100 meters for class one boys and Carlon Tuckett—100 and 200 meters for class two boys.

The final points standings in the closely fought race were:
Gold—593-champions
Green-590-second
Red—422 –third
