BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS — The MS Iona, one of the largest cruise ships in the world, is scheduled to dock at Port Zante in St. Kitts on Friday, January 16.

The *Iona* is currently on a 35-day round-trip Caribbean *Winter Warmth Cruise* that departed Southampton, England, on January 3. After visiting the Canary Islands on January 8, the vessel is expected to arrive at Port Zante early Friday morning.

From Basseterre, the 5,200-passenger ship will continue its journey with stops in Barbados, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, Tortola, Antigua, the Canary Islands, and Spain, before returning to Southampton on February 7.

The *Iona* is an Excellence-class cruise ship operated by P&O Cruises, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & plc. It is the sister ship to the *Arvia*, which makes regular calls to Port Zante during the 2025–26 cruise season.

While in port, the *Iona* will share berthing space at Port Zante with the *SeaDream II*.
