President of the Nevis Netball Association, Ms Vera Herbert is appealing to the general public to desist from vandalizing the Grell Hull-Dora Stevens Netball Complex and the Netball Association’s Secretariat.
Ms Herbert was speaking on Thursday in reference to a recent break-in of the Secretariat.
She is not sure exactly as yet what is missing but she stated that boxes of uniforms and trophies were ransacked and one box was obviously set on fire; and either fizzed out on its own or was later put out by the perpetrator/s.
It is still not certain what the perpetrator/s were hoping to achieve but Herbert is urging those persons to immediately desist from such behaviour.
