Coach at the St.Thomas’ Primary School, Emmanuel EDDY Richards-Caines, was the recipient on Monday 13th May of a timely donation from the overseas based, Nevis Association of South Florida.
Education Officer Mrs. Marva Roberts congratulated Caines on his superlative efforts of hosting an annual Football Coaching program during the summer break, for the last nine years and noted that the Association wanted to assist him in his ongoing efforts to develop the children of Nevis.
Mr. Spencer Hanley, who represented the Association, officially handed over the Football equipment to Caines and noted that the Association was interested in the development of all aspects of the development of the people of Nevis, which includes sports. He pointed out that the gifts included 20 footballs; pumps and cones.
Eddy Richards –Caines for his part, graciously accepted the donation and promised that they would be put ‘to good use.’
