CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS — The Ivor Walters Primary School (IWPS) is now home to a newly commissioned playground, made possible through the Nevis Co-operative Credit Union Limited’s SOAR (Schools Outreach Assistance and Reward) Programme.
IWPS was among the first schools to be adopted under the SOAR initiative, which is designed to support educational institutions across the island through meaningful partnerships and tangible assistance.
Representatives of the Nevis Co-operative Credit Union recently joined the school community to witness the official commissioning of the playground, which was purchased through the programme. The new facility provides students with a safe and engaging space for recreation, physical activity, and social development.
The Credit Union expressed appreciation to the administration and staff of Ivor Walters Primary for the invitation to share in the milestone moment, describing the project as a reflection of its ongoing commitment to youth development and community empowerment.
Through the SOAR Programme, the Nevis Co-operative Credit Union continues to invest in initiatives that enhance the educational experience and overall well-being of students across Nevis.
