Charlestown, Nevis — October 20, 2026 — The Nevis Electricity Company Limited (NEVLEC) is advising customers of scheduled electricity outages in Brown Hill and Long Point during the week of October 18, 2026, to facilitate essential maintenance work.
The planned outages are as follows:
Tuesday, October 20, 2026: Brown Hill, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 22, 2026: Long Point, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
NEVLEC advises customers in the affected communities to make the necessary preparations ahead of the scheduled interruptions. Customers are also encouraged to safeguard electrical equipment and appliances to minimise the risk of damage when electricity supply is interrupted and subsequently restored.
