New Zealand Takes Honours On First Day

The New Zealand team took honours on the first day of their ongoing test match versus England, on Wednesday 2nd June.

New Zealand batting first, were well placed at the end of the day, on 246 for 3.

Opener, Devon Conway, on debut, placed his name on the Lord’s honour’s list with his first try, being 136 not out.

Partnering him at the close of the day, was Henry Nicholls, on 46 not out.

For England, Ollie Robinson, also on debut, had 2 wickets for 50 runs and the veteran James Anderson, 1 for 55.
