Three Nevisians In Windies Under 19 Squad-One on Standby

The fifteen-man squad for the West Indies under 19 world cup campaign in early 2022, has been finalized.

The squad was released after another series of practice matches by the rising stars, held in Antigua, along with intense training sessions.

Three Nevisians were included in the recent tour to the UK, in Justin Amurdan, Carlon Bowens -Tuckett and Onaje Amory.

Jaden Carmichael just missed out on that tour, despite having commendable returns in the practice matches.

Now, three Nevisians have been included in the finalized squad, in Carlon Bowens- Tuckett; Onaje Amory and Jaden Carmichael, with Carmichael forcing his way into the squad, after compelling returns with both bat and ball, during the last outing in Antigua.

Surprisingly, Anderson Amurdan failed to make the final cut, despite scoring a half-century in the first practice match, during the last outing in Antigua.

He has been placed on standby.
