Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis – The Security Forces United Football Club and the National Intervention Team are proud to announce the official launch of online registration for the 3rd Annual Crime Intervention Summer Soccer Camp. This event is scheduled to take place from July 21 to August 1, 2025. This transformative camp is open to boys and girls aged 6 to 17 years and continues to play a vital role in youth development and crime prevention across the federation.
Parents and guardians can easily and securely sign up their children using the digital platform https://eu.jotform.com/app/251265004235143.
Building on the success of previous years, the camp is designed not only to develop soccer skills but also to promote personal growth, teamwork, and positive life choices among participants. The initiative is delivered in collaboration with local and international partners, including coaches from UK-based organisations such as Thru Life Sports and Reach One Teach One – Building Bridges to Success, as well as USA colleges. It is supported by the Ministry of National Security and the Department of Sports.
Camp Director, Police Inspector John Bergan, emphasised the significance of the program, stating, “The Crime Intervention Summer Soccer Camp is about more than just football. It’s about giving our youth the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need to make positive choices and build brighter futures. Each year, we witness the impact this camp has on our young people and our communities. We encourage all parents to register their children and be part of this life-changing experience.”
The camp will feature daily skills clinics, friendly matches, motivational talks, and talent identification opportunities, all aimed at opening doors to athlete scholarships and further development for promising players. Equipment donations and community support will ensure a professional and engaging experience for every participant.
