BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, January 26, 2026 — Cruise tourism to St. Kitts remained strong on Sunday as **four cruise ships docked at Port Zante, bringing more than 9,700 passengers to the island.
The Caribbean Princess arrived with 3,022 passengers, the Carnival Dream with 2,513, the Norwegian Getaway with 3,972, and the Star Seeker with 209, for a combined total of 9,746 passengers.
The majority of passengers and crew members came ashore, providing a significant boost to the local economy. Vendors, taxi operators, tour companies, retailers, jewellery stores, and restaurants reported brisk business, while many visitors explored the city of Basseterre, visited local attractions and churches, and patronised casinos.
The momentum is expected to continue, as this week is shaping up to be another strong one for cruise tourism. Scheduled visits include the **Queen Victoria, Viking Sea, Norwegian Gem, Vision of the Seas, Seabourn Ovation, Celebrity Ascent, Marella Discovery, Enchanted Princess, Costa Fascinosa, Koningsdam, Brilliance of the Seas, and Silver Ray**.
