REGION’S CXC EXAMINATIONS RESULTS TO BE RELEASED IN ST. KITTS

(EMU) – St. Kitts, August 7, 2013: The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis is the   territory chosen for the release of the CXC Examinations Report for the May-June 2013 Examinations.

National Examinations Registrar and CXC’s Local Registrar Mr. Solomon Claxton told the Education Media Unit that the Ministry of Education is collaborating with the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) to plan the event scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium.

The report, which will feature results from the entire region, will highlight the Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC), the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC), as well as the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE).

Mr. Glenroy Cumberbatch, CXC Pro Registrar will present the 2013 examinations results. Also delivering remarks at the ceremony will be Dr. Didacus Jules, CXC Registrar, and Mrs. Susan Giles, Senior Assistant Registrar of the Examinations Administration and Security Division.

Minister responsible for Education and Information Hon. Nigel Carty will deliver an address.

The event will be broadcast live on ZIZ Television.
