REPORT OF ARRESTS, CONVICTIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 28,  2017, (RSCNPF):  Below is a report of Arrests, Convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period February 25th – 27th 2017.

 ARREST AND BAIL:

Arrested: Akeem Whyte of Parray’s Village, St. Peters was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny.

 Arrested: Kareem Warner of The Alley, Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis that was committed on February 25,, 2017.. 

 Arrested: Gloria Bradshaw of Parson Ground was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Obtaining Credit by False Pretense. Offence was committed between July 2016 and February 2017.

 Arrested/Bailed: Omarie Browne of New Road, was arrested, formally charged, and cautioned for the offence of Larceny committed on February 22, at Port Zante.  He was granted bail  in the sum of $5000.00 with two sureties for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday, April 3rd.

 OTHER ACTIVITY: 

Housebreaking and Larceny: Police is investigating a report of Housebreaking and Larceny in Fig Tree, Sandy Point.  The V/C report that the house was broken into and a number of items were taken.  The scene was processed,  the investigations continue.  

 Search Warrant Executed: Police executed a number of search warrants over the period of this report. The Warrants were executed in the following areas: Brick Kiln, Maddens Housing Project, Shadwell, New Road and Salt Pand Alley where they found a result of one plastic bag with 34 dime bags with what appeared to be cannabis. Most searches were done for drugs, guns and ammunition.

 Abandoned Properties Search: Police continues to execute searches of abandoned properties; most recent searches were done in the following areas: Conaree and Mcknight

 Traffic Accidents: There were five (5) accidents on the federation’s roadways (2) in St. Kitts and (3) in Nevis during the period of this report.
