It is termed as a local event and the three islands expected to face off in the annual Independence Drag race event are: Host Island Nevis, St.Kitts and Anguilla.
The event is set for Sunday 20th September with the gates opening at 10 am and the actual competition expected to commence at 2 pm.
Registration will be open from 10 am to 1 pm
Test & Tune, Qualifying, inspection from 11 am to 1:30 pm
Registration fee will be $100 EC.
The organizers are kindly asking all volunteers, Fire, Ems/Red Cross to report for duty at 10:30 am.
The Prizes are as follows;
14sec class-$500, 13sec class-$700, 12sec class-$900, 11Sec class-$1200, 10sec class-$1400, Open Class A-$1800, Open Class B/Outlaw Class-$2000, Open Bike-$1000. (NO TROPHIES)
Timing system will be finished by Flags., Christmas Tree start will be available.., Qualifying, Test & Tune to be determined… update will be given in advance in regards.
