Three Nevisians Into Sugar Mas’ Fifty Kaiso Finals

Basseterre-St.Kitts-Despite ongoing controversies, the Calypso eliminations for Sugar Mas’ 50, proceeded without a hitch, over two nights-Friday 10th and Saturday 11th December.

Shortly after the conclusion of the show on Saturday night, the judges revealed the 8 calypsonians, who will go into the grand finals, slated for the 30th December, to come up against reigning Calypso Monarch, QUEENY G.

Interestingly, three of the Nevisian Calypsonians who participated have made it into the finals, with Oscar King Astro, Browne, being the dominant force, over the two nights, winning the eliminations, hands down.

The other two Nevisian Calypsonians to make it into the grand finale, are reigning Culturama King, King Hollywood and Andrew MURRAY Hendrickson, who just made it in, by tying in 7th spot with TAKEOVER.

It, therefore, means that instead of the original plan of having seven calypsonians compete against QUEENY G, there will now be eight calypsonians to come up against the reigning monarch.

The following are the placements and scores from the eliminations:

King Astro-380 points

King Socrates 370 points

Queen Independent 365 points

King Hollywood 362 points

Queen Kibi 355 points

Lady Diva 353 points

Murray 339 points

Take Over 339 points
