His Excellency Ambassador Sam T. Condor, Permanent Representative of St. Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations will host an Independence Reception on Monday, September 19th, 2016 in honour of the Federation’s 33rd Anniversary of Independence.
Ambassador Condor invites all nationals to meet and greet with him and fellow nationals at the Permanent Mission located at 414 East 75th Street, Floor 5, between 1st and York Avenues. The Ambassador will host nationals and other Permanent Representatives at Monday’s Reception and looks forward to a spirited engagement with nationals.
The Reception is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and guests attending are encouraged to R.S.V.P. at 212-535-1234.
This year’s 33rd anniversary of Independence is being celebrated under the theme “Promoting Prosperity through Sustainability and National Unity.” The Ambassador wishes to use the Independence Reception as yet another forum to continue to embrace this theme and to promote his vision for the advancement of St. Kitts and Nevis.
St. Kitts and Nevis attained Independence from Great Britain on September 19, 1983. Various initiatives geared at bringing nationals together have been hosted by several Ambassadors to the United Nations in the past.
Monday’s Reception will be the first Independence Reception to be hosted by His Excellency Condor since the commencement of his tenure as Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
All nationals in the Diaspora are welcome.
Happy Independence 33 to ALL!
