The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Hamilton, Nevis between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM on April 23rd, 2024.
The shooting involved Lavington Forbes of Hamilton, who received a single gunshot wound to his arm.
According to preliminary investigations, Mr Forbes was approached by an armed assailant while he was standing near his residence.
Fortunately, he was able to escape the attack and was transported to the Alexandra Hospital in a private vehicle. The RSCNPF’s Crime Scene Unit has already processed the scene and collected items of evidential value.
The investigation is still ongoing, and further updates will be provided to the public as necessary.
