The signature event for the Nevis Turf and Jockey Club is pretty much set and ready to go. President of the Horse racing Association Allister Thompson stated on Wednesday that everything is pretty much in place for the major event.
On Monday 9th September, the annual press conference to highlight the event will be held at the Llewellyn Newton Disaster Preparedness office, situated at Long Point.
Thompson is inviting representatives of all media houses to be present for the 10:00 a.m. start of the press briefing which will serve to update the general public on some of the much anticipated match ups and other details of the meet.
The Nevis Turf and Jockey Club will also be releasing information as to a week of activities it will be hosting in celebration of its 40th anniversary.
