(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- According to a Police Press Release, Latisha Joshua also known as ‘Snipe’ of New Castle Village was formally arrested and charged for the offence of battery on police. This offence was committed on Monday, June 9, 2014.
News reaching indicate that ‘Snipe’ was involved in an altercation with police officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force during a J’ouvert Jam in the St. James Parish area. This secession was a part of the Winfes Turns 8 celebrations 2014.
One eye witness told Nevispages that he witnessed the altercation between the police officers and the woman but did not know why the altercation took place.
According to the same police press release Vaughn Parris of New Castle was formally arrested and charged for the offence of throwing missiles. This incident was committed on June 7, 2014.
