The Violent Crime Unit (VCU) is investigating a shooting incident which occurred just before 6:00 am on Wednesday 24 June 2015 at the Bakery of Ernest Hendricks at Palmetto Point, during which Ernest Hendricks was wounded.
Initial investigations revealed that an armed masked assailant entered the bakery and attacked Mr Hendricks and injured him during the attack. Mr Hendrickson was transported to the Joseph N France General Hospital by the EMS for medical attention and is said to be warded in critical but stable condition.
Police officers of the Old Road Police Station, SSU, VCU, Crime Scene Unit, and K9 Unit responded to the scene and carried out investigations.
