Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 25, 2016 (RSCNPF): The Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting incident in Ottley’s Village which resulted in the death of one person, a 20 year old male resident of Cayon.
Initial investigations revealed the victim was shot sometime after 7.00pm on Tuesday (October 25) by an unknown assailant(s) at the junction of “Bigbow” Alley and the Island Main Road.
Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit, the Criminal Investigations Department and technicians from the Forensic Services Unit have canvassed the scene for evidence.
The Police appeals to anyone who may have been in the area and may have seen anything relating to this incident to contact the Violent Crimes Unit at 465-2241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS).
