Report of Arrest, Convictions and Other Activities.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 15, 2016 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of Arrest and or Convictions from the records of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for period 12-14 March.
ARRESTS/BAILED:

Arrested: Jahrese Brown of Jessups Village was formally arrested, charged and cautioned on a Warrant in the First Instance for the offence of House breaking and Larceny. Offence took place on March 09, 2016 in Nevis.
Bailed: Elvis Thomas of Boones Avenue who was formally charged for Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply was granted bail and ordered to appear at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday, 9th may, 2016.

Bailed:- Shenelle Isaac an adult of West Farm who was charged for Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with intent to Supply was granted bailed in the sum of $35,000.00 and ordered to appear at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday,9th May 2016.

Bailed: Asim Liburd aka Ace of St Johnson Village who was formally charged with the offences of Driving without License and Driving when not covered with Insurance committed was granted bail in the sum of $10,000 at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Thursday, 17 the May, 2016.

Bailed: Krami O’loughlin of Mansion who was formally arrested for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply was granted bail in the sum of $15,000 and ordered to appear at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on Monday, 14th March, 2016.

COURT CONVICTION:
In matters at the St. Christopher Circuit Court presided over by The Honourable Madame Justice Marlene Carter, in the Criminal Case SKBHCR2014/0016, The DPP vs Olajuwon Williams of Brombill Street, Newtown; who was indicted for Unlawful Carnal Knowledge and who pleaded Guilty on 1st February, 2016 was sentenced on March 14, 2016 and fined $5,000.00ECC to be paid in six(6) months, or if in default twelve (12) months imprisonment.

Tonicia Martin of St. Peters who pleaded guilty to Grievous Bodily Harm on January 26, 2016 had her sentencing postponed until 10th May, 2016 pending an updated Social Inquiry Report and a psychiatric assessment and will remain on bail under the same conditions.

OTHER ACTIVITY:
Traffic Accidents: Two traffic accidents occurred between 12-14. One occurred in Tabernacle and the other in Nevis.
Police continues to conduct Vehicular Check Points and or Stop and Searches and several searches of abandoned properties. The check points and searches were done in efforts to ensure Citizen Safety, by removing any found Illegal Firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs, and other instruments that can be used to commit crimes.
