BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Sep 26 2016 – According to the National Hurricane Center, shower and thunderstorm activity associated with a low pressure area system is located about 1300 miles east-southeast of the Windward Islands.
The system has changed little in organization since early Sunday.
Experts say, environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for gradual development and a tropical depression is likely to form later this week.

• Formation chance through 5 days, high, 90-percent
The low is projected to move west to west-northwest at 15 to 20 mph over the next few days.
