UNDER 21 PARISH LEAGUE INTRIGUINGLY POISED

The inaugural LEFCO sponsored under 21 Basketball Parish league, hosted by the NABA, is intriguingly poised.

The preliminary round of matches were completed on Tuesday night -18th of October at the Grell Hull –Stevens Netball Complex, when St. Paul’s defeated St. Thomas’ by a mere four points(match details not available).

This has left the NABA officials with a bit of a headache as they now have to go through all of the score sheets to determine the two top teams who will face off in the grand finals.

The league brought out the fact that the teams are fairly evenly matched and each team would have suffered at least one defeat.

President of NABA, Wanda Parry, indicated on Thursday that the matter will be sorted out shortly and the two top teams for the finals will be revealed.

The final encounter is expected to draw a huge and supportive crowd, as many of the games have been well supported.
