On Friday, April 5th, the Minister of Sports, Hon. Troy Liburd, fulfilled a promise he made to the primary school footballers on Nevis during their tournament last year. He presented outstanding players from that event with football boots. Ms Nichola Fraser from the education department chaired the short ceremony. The following awards were presented:
– Jayden Christopher (IWPS) – Most Outstanding Goalkeeper
– Deshawn James (VOJN) – Best Defender
– Eliab Dickenson (STPS) – Top Goal Scorer
– Kardeem Taylor (CPS) – Tournament Most Outstanding Player
– Finals Most Outstanding Player.
