Firearms and Ammunition Recovered in Seperate RSCNPF Search Operations

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) has recovered illegal firearms and ammunition during a series of targeted search operations conducted across both islands between May 23 and May 25, 2026.

On May 23, officers carried out search operations in the Rawlins Village/Rawlins Road area of Nevis, where two abandoned structures were searched. In the first structure, officers recovered a Generation 4 Glock .40 pistol, along with one magazine and three rounds of .40 calibre ammunition. The second structure yielded a quantity of mixed-calibre ammunition, including five rounds of .380 calibre, two rounds of 7.62 calibre, and one round of 5.56 calibre.

On May 25, officers from the Anti-Narcotics Unit conducted a separate search of an abandoned building in Needmust, St. Kitts. During that operation, one Glock pistol and two matching rounds of ammunition were recovered.

All three scenes were processed by the Crime Scene Unit, and the items were taken into police custody for further analysis. Investigations into the incidents are ongoing.
