BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, June 15, 2026 – Discussions on areas of mutual interest and opportunities to strengthen cooperation between St. Kitts and Nevis and the European Union were held recently with the Federation’s Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Terrance M. Drew.
Prime Minister Drew, who is leading a delegation to a series of high-level meetings, said the engagements form part of his administration’s ongoing efforts to cultivate strategic international partnerships that advance national development, promote regional cooperation, and foster progress on shared priorities.
He noted that strengthening relations with key international partners remains central to the Government’s vision of creating new opportunities for economic growth, enhancing resilience, and improving the quality of life for all citizens.
The discussions underscored the commitment of both St. Kitts and Nevis and the European Union to deepening collaboration in areas of common interest and building a partnership grounded in mutual respect, shared values, and sustainable development.
