Cricket: CPS and JLPS Advance to Primary Schools Finals

The stage is set for an exciting championship showdown after the semi-finals of the 2026 Runako Morton/TDC Primary Schools Cricket Tournament were played at the ET Willet Park on Thursday, July 9.

In the opening semi-final, Charlestown Primary School (CPS) defeated defending champions Ivor Walters Primary School (IWPS) by 44 runs, thanks to another outstanding batting performance from Zakeem Bailey, who scored a brilliant 53.

Leading the charge was Jahmarli Kelly, who produced a superb unbeaten 84, while Amarni Herbert starred with the ball, taking 3 for 11, including a hat-trick.
