The Adventurers club of the Gingerland Seventh Day Adventist church, visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morton, on Saturday 13th October.
The long serving former teacher and Headmaster, who significantly is a survivor of the Christena Disaster (tragic boating accident of 1970), along with his wife, who is also a former teacher, welcomed Director Sharon Hamilton and the children warmly and joined with them as they sang choruses, read scripture verses and prayed.
The highlight of the visit, was a presentation of a beautiful bouquet of flowers, placed into a beautiful cup, by the Adventurers.
Mr. and Mrs. Morton expressed their delight at the unexpected gift, which was carefully designed and crafted by Sister Myrle Hendrickson.
