St. Kitts & Nevis National Carnival

The stars in our National Flag represent “Hope” and “Liberty” and the colour ‘WHITE’ is one of importance. Young revellers in this division showcase a level of sophistication coupled with naturalness and purity as they are intended to portray everything that is GOOD about St. Kitts & Nevis. BUOYANT embodies CLARITY, POSITIVITY and NEW beginnings for our people.

FEMALE COSTUME – Attire is mainly a white long sleeved mesh leotard with a skirt. The shoulder piece is made up of white feathers with matching smaller feathers at the ankles. The show stopping headpiece is made up of varying sizes of white feathers and a silver diamond crown. The belt is long tie shaped with glitter to represent the St. Kitts
& Nevis flag.

MALE COSTUME – Mainly a white vest with matching white short pant. Headpiece is simply a smaller version to the females and the scarf around the neck highlights the St. Kitts &NNevis flag. Arm bands and nkle bands are tribal white bands and a staff with a white star completes the look.
