Close Games Continue In NABA League

A change in venue, certainly does not mean a change in the excitement.

The Nevis Amateur Basketball Association (NABA) league, which is sponsored by SL Horsfords, continued on the evening of Saturday 28th April.

It was the start of round two but there was one major change.

Instead of the usual venue of the hard court in Church Ground, the action moved to the newly renovated court, next to the Charlestown Primary School.

A sizeable crowd showed up, which included Hon. Spencer Brand and Mrs. Brand.

In brief remarks, prior to the start of the games, Minister Brand wished the players all the best, as they faced off in round two.

He was instrumental in assisting with the works at the court.

In game one, which was played between Ole Skool and Dynasty Ballers, the crowd was in for a treat. It was a ding- dong battle from start to finish.

In the final breath taking seconds of the game, Dynasty Balers managed to sink a few critical points and just edged out the Ole Skool team, by a mere two points!

Final score:

It was another nail biter. The scores were actually tied 29-all at half time.

CG Rebels then managed a decisive seven points lead in the third quarter and even though the CG Massives team, managed a three points lead in the final quarter, it was just not enough.
