The director at the Disaster Management Office, Mr. Brian Dyer, is urging teams to officially register for the upcoming double wicket competition, slated for this coming weekend.
The innovative cricket festival will be held on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October, at the VOJN grounds and will feature teams comprising of two players.
The registration fee is only $40.00 EC per team and interested persons are being urged to visit the Disaster Management office at Long Point, in order to complete registration forms.
Dyer noted that persons have called to indicate their interest in playing, but noted that it is best that the registration forms be completed.
Persons can also register on the day of the event.
The finals will be played on Sunday 8th October and the winning team will walk away with a whopping $800.00 EC
