As per the update from Michael “WISE” Herbert, the representative of the Hardtimes Community Club, all the arrangements for the Village Premier League 2024 are almost done. The tournament will begin with a knockout match on Sunday, 12th May, at the Hardtimes playfield, starting at noon.
Currently, six teams have enrolled for the tournament, namely Empire, Easterns, SDA Jets, Bushwhackers, the Guyanese team, and another team whose name is not yet confirmed. Each team will play four overs per side, and if a team loses, they will be eliminated from the tournament. The last two teams remaining will compete in the grand finals.
The winner of the tournament will receive a grand trophy sponsored by A1 Farms and a cash prize.
